How long does it take to get implants?

First, there is an evaluation accompanied by a 3D X-Ray to determine if the site(s) have enough bone for dental implant placement. Once the implant is placed, 4 to 6 months is allowed for proper healing. Once healed, the implant can be uncovered and attachments or crowns can be placed. Call us today to schedule your implant consultation and be on your way to new teeth!

How often should I be seeing a dentist?

We recommend seeing a dentist for an examination once a year. You should see a dentist twice a year for cleanings to maintain your oral health.

What can be expected with Invisalign?

You can expect buttons to be attached to some of your teeth to assist the aligner tray in moving the teeth in the desired position. It can take 3-6 months to straighten teeth if the correction is mild, while advanced corrections may take a year or more.

The first step is to take impressions of the upper/lower teeth and send them to Invisalign for evaluation and determination of how many aligner trays are needed for the desired teeth position. Each aligner tray is worn for two weeks and then replaced with the next aligner tray in the sequence. Patients can expect some tooth “soreness” when new aligner trays are placed in the mouth but this “soreness” will subside during the two weeks of wear as the teeth move in the desired direction.

In order to maintain the progress of tooth movement, it is CRITICAL to wear clear aligners at all times (except when eating food). If you’re ready to start your journey to straight, beautiful teeth using Invisalign treatment, call us today to schedule your first appointment!

How long does in-office whitening take?

In-office whitening (call for pricing) is a one-hour procedure. Some tooth sensitivity may occur after the procedure, but it will subside in a few days. Most people achieved their desired tooth whiteness after one session of in-office whitening. However, some patients require multiple sessions.

How often can I come in for whitening sessions?

Whitening sessions can be repeated as many times as necessary to achieve desired teeth whiteness. For professional dentist teeth whitening, call us today to schedule your appointment.
